Beef cattle afternoon
A beef cattle field afternoon will be held at the Te Mania property of Mr F. F. Wilding at Conway Flat beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday. It is under the auspices of the New Zealand Angus Association, in conjunction - with the Cheviot Young - Farmers’ Club. It will provide an oppor-; tunitv for a critical exami- - nation of stud breeding,-! scientific methods of breed-: ing and also of breeds in-; eluding the Charolais and ; Simmental. Speakers will include Mr Wilding, J. D. Caldwell, of | Cheviot, J. E. Austin, of Ox- ; ford, A. M. Nicol, of Lin-; coin College, R. A. Barton, ; of Massey University, and ; M. M. Chisholm, manager of ; Molesworth station. ■
