S.L Tasman service?
(Hi. Pre** Association) DUNEDIN, March 29. New hope was given for the establishment of a Tasman shipping service from Dunedin and Lyttelton at a meeting of the Otago Harbour Board today. A board member, and director of Tasman Union, Ltd, Mr C. R. Skeggs, said that executives of the shipping company were looking at the possibility of a service to Australia from the two South Island ports. "We may have a threeweekly service between Australia and the South Island. If there is not sufficient cargo at Dunedin and Lyttelton, such a service might call at Wellington as well.” said Mr Skeggs.
