Hadlee Trophy
Riccarton is the 1971/72 season winner of the Hadlee Trophy, awarded to the senior cricket ‘ team with the best record in conduct and appearance. Points were awarded by the umpires in each match of the competition. The final points were:— Riccarton 166, Lancaster Park 161 J, West Christchurch University 161 i. St Albans 160), High School Old Boys 158, Sydenham 149, Old Collegians 147, East Christ-church-Shirley 144). .
