Conscience money
Conscience money amounting to $390 received during the quarter ended March 7 is acknowledged by the Secretary to the Treasury (Mr H. G. Lang) in the latest issue of the New Zealand Gazette. The Inland Revenue Department received $3lB from "unknown persons,” one sum being $250. The Treasury received $5O, the Ministry of Defence $4 and the Customs Denartment SlB.
