BELT LAWS SOUGHT
The British Safety Council has issued a statement in favour of legislation to make the wearing of seatbelts compulsory m Britain. In a survey conducted in Birmingham, 45 per cent of motorists interviewed said they thought such legislation should be passed, the council said.
