Table tennis record “outstanding”

“The past season baa been a very healthy one,” said the president of the Canterbury Table Tennis Association, Mr A. B. McCallum, at the annual meeting of the association last night Addressing delegates from 19 dubs and sub-associations, Mr McCallum congratulated players on their outstanding record which included wins in all but one of the regular representative fixtures. Canterbury also did well to preserve its A grade status in the New Zealand teams championships. Congratulations were also extended to association players who represented the South Island in its first outright win over the North. The coming season appeared an exciting one, said Mr McCallum.
