TENNIS SEEDS
More than 180 players, including some from Otago, West Coast, Martborough, and South Canterbury, have entered for the Canterbury junior lawn tennis association’s Easter tournament to be held at Wilding Park on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. A parent and child doubles will also be held. The tournament is sponsored by Lemon and Paeroa. Seedings for singles:— Under 17.—Boys singles (27 entries!: S. Burns, C. Brading, B. Sanders, J. Hampton. Girls 1 singles (19): C. Newton, J. Dalzell, J. Shaw (Otago), E. Smith. Under 15.—Boys r singles (55): P. Hampton, S. Dickson, G. Wilson, M, Mooney. Girls' singles (21): E. Coffey, J. VerdeUen, G. Palmer, K. Robinson (Otago). Under 13.—Boys’ singles (35): M. Campbell, S. Cralb, B. Hibberd, S. Agar. Girls’ singles (22): I. de Meyer, V. Sandford, G. Robinson (Otago), J. Meates.
