CLOSER LINKS
After recent criticism of insufficient liaison between the two bodes, the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee and the New Zealand Olympic and British Commonwealth Games Association have taken steps to form closer links.
In addition to its permanent representative (Mr C. L. S. Cross), the association will have a second executive member at future organising committee meetings. The additional member will be chosen in rotation so as to ensure that the full executive becomes acquainted with the work of the committee.
As well, future meetings of N.Z.0.8.C.G.A. executive in Wellington will be attendeded by a representative of the organising committee.
