Bureaucracy ‘gone mad’
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 22. The national secretary of the Master Grocers’ Association today criticised sections of the Trade Practices Amendment, 1971, requiring trade associations to submit lists of members, prices and other information. Mr R. M. Barker said he recived a Government document requesting the information two days ago, leaving him until March 31 to file the information. "Bureaucracy has gone mad,” he said. “To complete this task before March 31 is impossible. It would take me at least six months to complete the information required.”
