“Mary, Mungo and Midge,”' which starts from CHTV3 on, Wednesday; comes from the 8.8. C. “Watch With Mother" series for pre-school children. Five-year-old Mary has only two friends, a wise old dog, Mungo, and a very inquisitive mouse called Midge. Midge is the instigator of many mishaps and adventures, The characters and story ideas are by John Ryan who wrote the ‘Captain Rugwash” stories, and scripts are by Daphne Jones, a writer and director of “Playschool.”
