Chairman to attend U.N.
(N.Z. Press Association! WELLINGTON, Mar. 8.
The chairman of H.A.R.T. (Mr T. Richards) will definitely attend the special meeting of the United Nations Special Committee on Apartheid in New York later this month. Mr Richards’ plans were confirmed in Wellington today with the opening of a national appeal for $l5OO. The appeal will be organised by an executive member of the Race Relations Council, Mr M. Law. The three trustees to administer the funds are Miss M. Bryson, a lawyer, Mr C. Draper, an economist and Mr R. Shorter, a computer programmer.
