Award made to Miss Gould
(N.Z. Pres* Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. Miss Shane Gould has been named the Australasian winner of the Helms Athletic Foundation Award for 1971. The Helms Award board names the foremost amateur athlete of each of six sections of the world—-Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, North America and South America. The names of the annual winners are engraved on the world trophy which is kept in Helms Hall in Los Angeles.
