Utah profit rising

Utah Mining Australia, Ltd, says that shipments of 617,233 long tons of coking coal were made from the Blackwater mine in the three months to January 31, compared with 587,522 tons in the previous quarter. Shipments from the Gooyella mine were 973,918 long tons (212,715). Iron ore shipments from the Mount Goldsworthy mine were 559,596 long tons for the quarter to December 31, against 530,235 tons in the previous quarter. Deliveries of coking coal from the new Peak Downs mine are expected to commence during the latter part of the fiscal year ending December 31.
The unaudited profit for the three months to January 31 was $3,062,000 compared with $2,446,000 in the previous quarter.
