Chch schools win games
Two Christchurch secondary schools both won annual inter- ' school matches yesterday. In Christchurch, St Andrew’s College beat Scots College (Weir . llngton) by an innings and 61 runs, and at Wellington, St Bede’s College beat St Patrick’s ' College by four wickets. St Bede’s 174 and 81/6 (I. McAlpine 36, T. Murdoch 33 not out), St Patrick's 48 and 205 : (Kjestrup 11; V. O’Loughlin 3/31, C. Brunel! 4/37, L McAlpine 2/21). St Andrew’s 216/3 dee. (J. McLay 100 not out, P. Talbot 70 , not out), Scot’s « (C. Abbott 7/6) and 108 (R. Johnson 33, M. Horsley 17; M. T. Johnston 5/27, Abbott 3/38).
