Two injured on roads
A woman suffered head injuries when two cars collided at the intersection of Buchanans and Carmen Roads, Sockburn, about 9.50 a.m. yesterday. She is Elsie Joy McLeod, of Lobum, North Canterbury. She was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where her condition last evening was given as fairly comfortable.
Head and leg injuries were suffered by Norman William Harris, of 49 Conway Street, Spreydon, when he fell from his motor-cycle in Conway Street about 3.20 a.m. yesterday. Mr Harris was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital, where his condition last evening was reported as fairly comfortable.
