Changes sought in air routes

WELLINGTON, March 7.
The National Airways Corporation today applied to the Air Transport Licensing Authority to change three routes and add a new flight.
The department wished to delete Palmerston North from its present Auckland-New Plymouth-Palmerston NorthWellington daily return flight, said the deputy general manager and treasurer of N.A.C. (Mr L. L. Ford). It also wished to delete Nelson and Christchuch from its present Auckland-Palmer-ston North-Nelson-Christ-church daily return flight, and substitute an Auckland-
Palmerston North-Wellington service.
The corporation also sought to delete the present Hokitika leg of the Christchurch - Westport - Hokitika flight and substitute anotherdaily return flight between: Christchurch and Hokitika, i These flights were to be! replaced by flights between! Palmerston North, Welling- | ton and Nelson and by ai direct Christchurch-Hokitika-service, said Mr Ford. I
