THE TOTALISATOR AGENCY BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND REQUIRES AN EXPERIENCED REALTIME SYSTEMS ANALYST THE New Zealand Totalisator Agency Board will introduce computerised systems for both cash and telephone betting during the next two years. These systems will be based on duplexed Control Data 3100 and 1774 computers located in the Board’s head office in Wellington. Thereafter there will be a programme of development and improvement of these real-time systems. Applications are invited for the position of Senior Systems Analyst in connection with this project. The successful applicant will be required initially to lead the T.A.B. members of a joint Control Data/T.A.B. team of systems analysts and programmers implementing the system during the period from now until 1974. Subsequently, he will act as the T.A.B.’s Senior Systems Analyst reporting to the Board’s E.D.P. Executive. Prior experience in design and implementation of real-time systems is essential as well as a broad background in E.D.P. Previous experience in the management control and training of a team of analyst/programmers is also required. Knowledge of the T.A.B. application and/or Control Data equipment would be an advantage.
