Safety Council visit
Members of the National Safety Council are in Christchurch for the council’s monthly meeting and yesterday they toured three Christchurch factories. Ten members, including the president (Mr V. P. Blakely), come from outside Christchurch. The party visited the Crown Crystal glass works, the poultry division of General Foods Corporation (N.Z.) Ltd, and the factory of C. W. F. Hamilton, Ltd. This morning they will visit the N.A.C. workshops at Harewood.
