N.Z. boxers win
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE. The New Zealanders, T. George and M. Santos, both won their professional fights on points at Melbourne’s festival Hall. George, the Commonwealth feather-weight champion, defeated the Filipino southpaw, R. Gayuna, and Santos, the Australasian light welter-weight title-holder, beat the Spanish light-weight champion, K. Tano.
Both fights were over 10 two-minute rounds.
