C.S.L bidder for M. Finance
Credit Services Investments, Ltd, the Welling-ton-based financier, has emerged as the bidder for Merchant Finance and Investment, Ltd. The offer is one Credit Services share plus 19c cash for every two shares of the Auckland financier. This makes the bid worth 78c for each Merchant Finance share, which last sold at 80e; the offer values the company at $390,000. At last balance date Merchant Finance had shareholders’ funds of $799,000.
