Showed best form this season when close third behind Evenstead at Ellerslie on Jan. 29 Might now go on with good form. D. Raklander. 17 I*ll ROYAL CHICK (13) 7-9. Finished second and promoted to first last start over Ilf at Trentham. Won time before In Avondale highweight and earlier at Te Awamutu. 18 0572 SEIKO (20) 7-7. Surprise winner at Ellerslie but could not be fancied on showings since. 20 1000 WALK ALONG (14) 7-7. Won well this course and distance on Dec. 28 after showing fair form in home districts but latest efforts not nearly as good. 21 3401 DYAK (17) 7-4. First then disqualified two starts back in open IJm at Trentham on Jan. 24 and meanwhile won easily over Ilf. Improved gelding which would be tough to beat in Trentham form. J. Should be well suited by this smaller track. R. Taylor. 2 23*0 TAUPORAE (4) 8-3. Speedy and has freshened since Trentham, where she raced well. Would be a prospect. W. Skelton. 3 5831 LICKETYSPLIT (4) 0-2. Ran on solidly to win last start over 6f at Ellerslie on Jan. 31 with 8-0. Has galloped well and on Ellerslie form is one of the top chances. R. Skelton. 4 113 GAY PRINCE (12) 81. Won gamely In open sprints at Thames and Ellerslie in first two races after a spell. Close third to Llcketysplit at Ellerslie. Wide barrier, but due respect. G. form but has had to be let up after set-backs and this will be first race for five

Reached good form during Christmas-New Year on Tara-
