(NX. Press Aitn.—Copyright) PALM SPRINGS. The veteran R. Rosburg and the young J. Heard had six-under-par 66s and tied for the first-round lead in the Bob Hope Desert golf tournament yesterday. They held a one-stroke lead over C. Courtney and J. Powell. J. Nicklaus headed a quartet at 68, and the defending champion, A. Palmer, was on 69.
