Foxy, a brilliantly finishing second to Queen Mellay in the the corresponding event on Saturday, Queen Mellay, and a newcomer to the meeting in Smart Mellay may be the three to consider in the Caltex Challenge Gold Cup, the feature race on the second day of the Vincent Jockey Club’s meeting at Omakau today.

Foxy, a half sister by the proved staying sire Afganistan to the bril--ant Royal Estate, is due for a winning turn for her Wingatui breeder, Mrs H. G. McLeod and her trainer, A. N. Didham.
