‘Beyond the Wall’
For the most of the last decade, 17,000,000 Germans have lived isolated on “the wrong side” of the Berlin Wall, but in that time Ulbricht’s Communists have built East Germany into the richest country in Eastern Europe. Now, for the first time, a 8.8. C. film crew has been allowed three weeks in East Germany, and the first fulllength report by a British television team on the life of the Germans is “Beyond the Wall.”
. “Beyond the Wall” was produced for the B.BC. by John Walker, and screens from all channels on Sunday.
