Birth-control pill claim
(7V.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) ST LOUIS, Jan. 8. An American couple are claiming SUSS,Sm in damages from the maker of a birthcontrol pill, which, they said, caused injuries to them. Mr and Mrs Alan Wienman allege that the harmful side effects occurred after Mrs Wienman took the pills manufactured by G. D. Searle and Company. It is alleged that the movement of Mrs Wientnan’s left leg was limited as a result of taking the pills, and that she suffered nausea, fatigue, sleeplessness, cramp, menstrual disorders, headaches, nervousness and loss of appetite. It is also alleged that Mr Wienman was deprived of a normal relationship with his wife.
