Although it will not be at full strength for its game next Saturday night against [the visiting West German team, Hertha Berlin, the ! Auckland soccer team should [still give its opponents a good match. With several Auckland players not available, some new faces appear in the Auckland squad, which has been practising for the last 10 days for the game. | The national soccer coach, IMr B. Truman, travelled to Auckland yesterday, and will prepare the team for the game, in the absence of the Auckland selector-coach, Mr K. Armstrong. The team trained last night and will have further training on Monday morning and Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The squad:—

Fishing. A Christchurch woman. Mrs I. Pack, caught a giant 161 b brown trout in the Boyle River, which runs through the Lewis Pass area, last Tuesday evening. She required the help of her husband, Mr A E. Pack, to land the fish.
