Ellesmere Gun Club Christmas shoot

Although it was tho last of | the Christmas shoots hold by I Canterbury gun clubs, the Ellesmere club's event this week drew the largest attendance of the series. The 95 competitors came from all parts of the province and the standard of shooting throughout was very good. As usual three 10-target matches were held, with 25 prizes offered for each event. In the No. 1 match all 25 prizes were won by shooters with possibles in the following order, after a shoot-off for the
