Main-street swim
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 30. Six scouts of the Pukekohe troop decided to swim to the jamboree at the Pukekohe showgrounds yesterday morning. They set out using a large tank containing about 500 gallon of water on an articulator lorry. The boys took it in relays swimming the length of the tank and, in spite of a rough ride, arrived safely at their destination, claiming to be the first to swim along the main street of Pukekohe.
