WORKING PARTNERS.—These two young men are two of the five directors of Te Wai Holdings, Ltd, which is developing a block of 1400 acres of country on the south bank of the Waitaki River for irrigation. They do the work on the property with casual labour. They are, from left, Mr G. A. Fanner, and Mr D. J. Finlay, who is the manager. Half of the 1200 acres which are suitable for irrigation are in border-dykes.
