Second Samoan wins scholarship
A Samoan boy, Peretiso Faletoesi, has been awarded the Dean Martin Sullivan scholarship, tenable at the Cathedral Grammar School. He is the second Samoan to receive the scholarship, which has been available for only two years. This year's recipient is the
Last year the scholarship was awarded to Joseph Leota, who has performed well during the year, academically as well as at sport. The scholarship is open to anybody, particular emphasis being given to leadership qualities, according to a school spokesman. In this way the school was aiding Polynesian leadership of the future.
