Hot pants defended
The Cuban Prime Minister (Dr Castro) has declared himself to be an avid admirer of short skirts and hot pants, and has denied all reports to the contrary. “Cuba is a tropical country not one against short skirts,” Dr Castro said. “The fact is, we are against long skirts because you must use more cloth to make them, and Cuba is not a rich country.”—Lima, December 6.
