Vietnam’s award.—The national president of the New Zealand Red Cross Society (Mr D. G. Whyte) was invested with the Vietnamese Public Health Award, First Class, in Wellington by the charge d’affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy (Dr Nghiem My). He said the award was in recognition of the many services of the New Zealand Red Cross to the people of South Vietnam.—(P.A.).
