WATER—AND HAZARDS
Meeting for parents .“Water Hazards and the Toddler" wiH be the subject of a public meeting convened by the Christchurch Parents Centre, to be held tonight at Aldersgate, 309 Durham Street .at 8 o’clock. The superintendent of Christchurch Hospital (Dr R. A. Fairgray) will address the meeting on “Drowning and the Time Factor.” The chairman of, the Canterbury branch of the Royal.- Lifesaving Society (Mr S. E. Nicholl) will also speak, and members of the society will give a demonstration of practical life-saving. The Mayor (Mr N. G. Pickering) and Mrs Pickering will attend the meeting.
