Plans for Baguette
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. The champion Australian sprinter Baguette is to be retired to stud at the end of this racing season and will stand at a fee of $2500. Negotiations for the sale of the horse were completed last week, and plans for his stud career were outlined at the week-end. The Rego-Dark Jewel fouryeanold will become the property of a syndicate when he finishes racing and will stand at the Kia Ora Stud in New South Wales.
