Two die in collision
(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA, Nov. 30. A man and a woman are dead and a child is in Taumarunui Hospital after a collision between a car and a truck near the Tongariro River bridge, at Turangi, yesterday. The victims were George Awanui, aged 62, a widower, of Turang’i, the driver of the car, and Mrs Ann Maria Hauraki, aged 20, of Turangi, his passenger. Catherine R o n g o m a i Hauraki, aged two, daughter of Mrs Hauraki, is in a satisfactory condition in the hospital. .
