Town Hall bombed
A bomb explosion yesterday rocked the municipal town hall of the small Spanish hill town of Eibar, in the heart of the northern Basque country. The building’s transformer was destroyed, the lower floors badly damaged, and windows blown out of neighbouring buildings, but no-one was injured. Eleven days ago, dissentient workers bombed the offices of the State-controlled labour syndicate organisation.—Eibar, November 30.
