Dope charge hearing
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The hearing of charges against the Te Rapa owner-trainer H. S. J. Vincent in connection with a positive test returned by Elkiro after he won the JuvenUe Handicap at the Wellington Racing Club’s meeting on July 14 began today.
The charges are being heard by a sub-committee of the Wellington district committee of the Racing Conference. Elkiro won twice at the Wellington July meeting, his first success being in the Woburn Handicap on July 10.
