MARRIED IN FLlGHT.—Twenty young Japanese couples were married on board a Lufthansa Boeing 747 jumbo jet on its first flight between Japan and Europe. There were more than 80,000 applications from couples who wanted this unusual wedding ceremony and the honeymoon in Germany which were arranged by the airline. The photograph shows a Shinto priest holding a cup of traditional rice wine used in the ceremony for the toasts.
