Long reaches Wake Island

A Flying Tiger Airlines, pilot, Captain Eigen Long, has crossed the fourth and last "comer” of the world on a flight which has already carried him over the North and South Poles.
Captain Long flew over the Equator at the international dateline on a 19-hour fight from Nandi in the Fiji Islands, to Wake Island, where he landed at 3 a.m. New Zealand time-this morning.
He is . due to leave for Tokyo at 4 a.m. New Zealand time on Tuesday.
