Foundation awards

WELLINGTON, Nov. 28.
The Wellington hospital’s planned electronic data-pro-cessing programme for the study of arterial disorders will receive $6556 from the National Heart Foundation. Awards from the foundation to Canterbury doctors are:— To Dr E. A. Espiner of the medical unit. Princess Margaret Hospital, Christchurch, an award of $4915 for a research project on adrenal hormone changes in cardiac disorders. To Dr D. R. Hay, of Christchurch, who with support from the Cancer Society, attended the second world conference on smoking and health, held in London during September.
