A 19-year-old girl was killed early today when the car in which she was a passenger struck road works at New Lynn, sending a 10ftlong plank of timber crashing through the windscreen. She was
Miss Alison Marshall, daughter of Mr and Mrs B. D. Marshall, of Cutler Street, New Lynn.
