Payment on way out
About 50 young men and women from Christchurch bn motor-cycles refused to say the 60c admission fee when they arrived to watch a motor-cycle scramble meeting at Clarkville yesterday. They had to pay on the way out, instead. Police cars were sent from Christchurch to reinforce the Kaiapoi police patrol and Ministry of Transport patrol; cars also came.
