CLUB’S 108-0 VICTORY
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) LONDON. The Old Whitgiftians Rugby Union Club team hammered St Thomas’s Hospital 108-0 at South Croydon at the week-end — the biggest win the club’s history. St Thomas’s, which started two men short and stilt had only 14 players when a late-comer turned up, trailed 0-48 at the interval. It reached the Old Whitgiftians’ half only four times during the match. Ten Old Whitgiftians scored tries, and their goalkicker, Skeen, scored 34 points with a try, two penalty goals and 12 conversions.
