Manslaughter charge
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 10. A man will appear in the Wellington Magistrate’s Court tomorrow morning charged with manslaughter of Toni Mokaleai, aged 31, of Portland Crescent, Wellington. Mr Mokaleai was taken to Wellington Hospital yesterday afternoon with serious head injuries. He died five hours later. Detective Inspector B. P. Duncan said last night that Mr Mokaleai was injured in an incident in the Waterloo Hotel.
