COMPANY'S SPORTS
Four buses and several private cars will arrive in Christchurch this\ evening from Blenheirh, Nelson, Westport, Reefton, ' Greymouth and Ashburton, bringing 200 staff members of Lane, Walker, Rudkin, tLd, to the tenth annual social club inter-branch sports tournament. They will join 120 staff members -from the three Christchurch factories tomorrow morning at the Horticultural Hall where they wilt be met by the managingdirector (Mr N. H. Rudkin). The Mayor of Christchurch (Mr A. R. Guthrey) wifi welcome the visitors to the-.city. The teams will take part in indoor, bowls, table tennis, netball and hockey. A social and dance will be held at the Horticultural Hhjl tomorrow evening where the personnel manager (Mr D. Vanderes) wifi present trophies to the winning teams. ' The events will be held at Ashburton next year.
