Berlin opera arrives
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 13. The touring Opera Company of Berlin arrived in Auckland today. The company, of 31 members, is to present "Die Kluge” (The Wise Woman), by Carl Orff. The company’s good-will tour throughout Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia has been financed by the West German Government.
The limited Auckland season, will be followed by performances in Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch.
