Australian Cortinas
Two Cortina models have been released on the Australian market by the Ford company: they are the 1600 c.c. and the overhead-cam 2-litre models. Both cars are available with either four-speed manual transmissions or with automatic transmission, bucket seats being standard, with a bench seat as an option. The bucket seats have built-in head restraints. In Australia, the 1600 c.c. car will cost $2425, and the 2-litre, $2650.
