Ocean race trials
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. New Zealand will start its trials on October 9 to pick a three-boat team for the Syd-ney-to-Hobart ocean classic. It seems certain that the three boats will be one-toners.
The major candidates are Escapade (G. Hedges), WaiAniwa (C. Bouzaid), Young Nick (P. Mulgrew), Runaway, (J. Lidgard), and Pathfinder (B. Wilson).
