Pictures of Churches
A Christchurch woman is interested in compiling a pictorial record of New Zealand churches. Mrs E. C. Coker, of 10 Mbmorangi Crescent, Christchurch 5, has appealed for postcards and photographs of churches, regardless of denomination. Some
early churches of architectural and historical interest are closing, and are either demolished to make way for something new or used for purposes other than the one they were built for. Mrs Coker said that if she managed to compile such a pictorial record she would be happy to turn it over to an organisation like the Alexander Turnbull Library in Wellington.
