Manslaughter sentence

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 3. Joanna Stoddard Gilmour Anderson Pinkerton Dickson Taylor, aged 52, was sentenced to five years imprisonment in the Supreme Court in Wellington for manslaughter. Mr Justice White directed that the medical evidence given at the trial concerning Mrs Taylor’s disabilities be referred to the prison authorities so that she could receive the attention she required. The charge arose from the death of her husband.
